Prioritise collection efforts
Scoring capability
Once you commence working with D&B-RMO we will apply a D&B Dynamic Delinquency Score (DDS) or a Consumer Recovery Profile (CRP) on each of your accounts in order to prioritise collection efforts.
The DDS and CRP are statistically derived measures based on past behaviour that assesses the probability of a commercial and consumer debtor paying its bills in a severely delinquent manner (90+ day past terms) over the next 12 months, which enables you to understand increased risk of long-term non-payment.
Utilising either the DDS or the CRP enables D&B to focus on servicing your slow and potentially bad payers as a priority. The score drives accelerated collection treatment, creating a sense of urgency to settle outstanding accounts. Without scoring, accounts are treated the same, good accounts receive bothersome and unneeded contacts while truly bad accounts do not receive early pressure.
We can also apply the sophisticated D&B Dynamic Risk Score (DRS) on your major accounts in order to assess your current credit risk exposure. The DRS functions as a crystal ball, evaluating the probability that a customer will experience severe financial distress (i.e. Ceasing operations, owing money to creditors and insolvency) within the next 12 months. The DRS evaluates your debtor's business stability and calculates their probability of a payment default. Profiling your major accounts provide some certainty to your receivables.
Personalised treatment
Path of action matrix
Following the contact prioritisation we will map together specifics paths of action to apply to each account. The path of action is a mix of phone calls and letters with various tones to escalate the pressure pertinently on your due accounts.
Calling the right people at the right time
Call profiling
Using the Account Receivables Collections system (ARC) D&B RMO can streamline your receivables ledger enabling us to automatically stimulate relevant accounts when they are due.
ARC automatically allocates workflow for D&B RMO collections agents, schedules calls, prints letters, produces invoices and generates account outcome reports. ARC reduces customer contact downtime, therefore increasing the efficiency of our collective resources. ARC will also exchange data with your in-house accounts receivables system allowing customer contact information to be updated in near real-time, providing a seamless customer contact process between your organisation and the customer.
Proficient collectors
Controlled calls
Companies have found that it takes a certain and rare type of individual to continually perform collection tasks well. Most organisations do not have these people. Employees not suited to collections activities find it stressful. Thirty minutes of collections work for these people can impair productivity for the rest of the day. Our staffs are recruited for their ability to build relationships with customers, in addition to having base competence in collections or credit management.
D&B RMO maintain well-trained specialists suited to handling high call volumes, with effective listening and empathy skills, in addition to strong product knowledge. In this field, Call Control is the key factor of success driven by negotiating outcomes in a succinct professional manner.
We also utilise quality management practices (ISO 9001) to ensure our staff are carefully selected, highly trained and work in a culture of excellent customer service, efficiency, innovation and attention to detail.
Tailored response
Outcome analytic
In order to follow-up accounts D&B RMO has designed a specific treatment for each agent call outcome that is compiled in a matrix (portfolio analytic).
We trigger appropriate follow-ups such as invoice request, dispute resolution, escalation of pressure and final demands as required. Together we will tailor and customise these call outcomes according to your individual process and reporting requirements.
