Debt collection
SME market gateway with MYOB
In 2003 DBA joined forces with MYOB to help SME market limit its exposure to bad debt and maximise available cash flow. Over the course of the next six months, MYOB will roll out a range of DBA account management tools on its website, specifically tailored to meet the needs of the SME market. The first of these tools, the Accounts Recovery Service, is already live and allows MYOB "cover" customers to list outstanding debts for recovery with DBA. The partnership is aimed at providing the SME market with the same tools to maximise business opportunities that are more readily available to larger corporations.
MYOB chose to partner with DBA because of its commitment to protecting its clients' brand and professional image. Further management tools to be made available to MYOB customers online over the next six months will include credit checking, business verification and 'behavioural monitoring' services. This will enable SME's to find more profitable customers, reduce credit risk, optimise their receivables and recover debts faster.
Western Australian Local Government Association
In 2002 the Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) engaged Dun & Bradstreet Australia (D&B) as a service provider to augment the Local Government Tax and Financial Services program. The Association has lent more than its endorsement to the D&B service options. In a similar manner to the other partnerships that comprise the Local Government Tax and Financial services program, the Association takes an active role as a partner and administrator. Over the past year D&B has been collecting outstanding rates and sundry debtor accounts for more than sixty Local Governments that subscribe to the WALGA service.

D&B and the Commonwealth bank have partnered to deliver ABN search for any Australian business entity by name, ACN or D-U-N-S number. ABNsearch.com.au is a free service using the D&B database of Australian business provided in partnership with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

In 2004 D&B commenced an exclusive supplier of commercial credit information on the EC Group Corporate Portal to augment their service and product offerings. The alliance enables EC Credit Control clients to access our comprehensive database and order discounted credit reports. EC Credit Control was established in 1989 and is the foundation member of the EC Group. The group has grown substantially over the past few years, and now boasts a large office network throughout Australasia.
