Dun & Bradstreet (‘D&B’) is pleased to announce that it continues to be a trusted supplier of choice for the Department of Human Services (‘DHS’) after being awarded a renewal of its contract for the provision of Mercantile Agent Services for Debt Recovery.
D&B has enjoyed a long-term relationship with DHS, having partnered with the Department since 1996 to pioneer the concept of utilising third parties or agencies for the collection of outstanding Department of Social Security (‘DSS’) debt.
According to Clark Butler, CEO of Dun & Bradstreet Australia and New Zealand, the awarding of the contract demonstrates the extent to which DHS values its long term relationship with D&B and the high performance standards D&B brings to its collections activities. “We’re delighted to continue partnering with DHS for debt recovery services, and as a trusted provider to a number of Government departments with stringent security, privacy, infrastructure and conduct requirements, this decision is a testament to our industry-leading standards in this area,” Clark commented.
The contract covers a period of three years with further extension options.
